FFB Sop Compeat

This standard operating procedure outlines Farmers Fishers Bakers' policy for employee shift changes and swaps, which must be done through the Compeat system. Employees are required to schedule all shift trades on Compeat, where the requests will either be approved or denied based on factors like overtime limits and open house shifts. Employees are responsible for their original shifts if a trade is not approved on Compeat or the shift is later dropped. The document provides the steps for using Compeat and notes that failure to follow the policy will result in corrective action. Employees must sign that they have read and understand the terms.

Standard Operating Procedure

Title: Shift Change/Swap Through Compeat

th
Issued/Updated: September 5 2017

Farmers Fishers Bakers

Overview

All employees are required to follow FFB shift change/swap policy Through Compeat

Steps

FFB Shift swap/change Procedure
Scheduling and picking up/trading shifts at FFB.
When switching shifts they MUST go through Compeat. This has to happen every time. If there is a
reason you cannot complete the trade please see senior manager. Once you have traded the shift
in Compeat it will either be Approved or Denied. Until that happens the shift still belongs to the
individual it was originally scheduled to. There are a few reasons why we would deny a shift
switch.
1. It puts the person picking up the shift in Overtime.
2. There are House Shifts that need to be picked up first.

To be clear, if you DROP a shift and it is not picked up or picked up but DENIED you still own that
shift. Failing to follow these rules will lead to Corrective Action.

As a management team we have and will continue to try and work with all of you with your
schedule to create one that works.
