Summary

I have been living in America for the last 4 years working as a fully qualified football
coach and studying for a Masters degree. As a football coach I was responsible for
managing a number of junior teams with duties including organising practical
sessions, ensuring health, safety and welfare of participants, coaching and
developing participants, administrative tasks and upselling of products.

In the last 18 months I have been a full time student and have been working part
time on tele sales making outbound calls to prospective students of the university.
Prior to going to America I worked as a Teaching Assistant for 5 years which involved
organising and supervising activities for children of all abilities encouraging and
ensuring their participation, health, safety and welfare and dealing with a range of
administrative tasks.

I am an enthusiastic, hard-working, team player, often described as a natural leader


and capable of working on my own initiative. I have a competitive nature and always
strive to succeed in all areas of work. I have excellent communication skills and
quickly establish good working relationships with all people I need to liaise with.

I am physically fit and hold a full clean driving licence.

Employment History and Experience

Auxillis December 2016- June 2017


In this role I was required to assist customers with car hire and car repair after they
had been involved in car accidents. I was part of a team where we had to work
together to achieve targets as a group and individuals. It was important that I was
efficient with my time as well as empathetic and helpful towards customers.

Coach Girls teams ranging from u10-u14 responsibilities included:


Planning, arranging and managing practice sessions every weeknight
Supervision of young players ensuring their safety, welfare and development
Attending games and tournaments on Saturdays and Sundays.
Liaising with players, parents, opponents and other club officials

UK International Soccer Camps July 2013 May 2015

Delivering soccer camps in the U.S.A to children aged between 4-16 years old,
responsibilities included;
Planning, delivering and managing coaching sessions appropriate to the
childs ability and ensuring their health, safety and welfare
Supervision of children and other coaches during the session
Administrative arrangements including managing equipment, transport other
staff members to ensure a successful session
Promoting the sale of ancillary products, managing accounts and handling
money.

Nunthorpe Primary School 2008 July 2013: Out of Hours Supervisor (Morning
and after school club)

I was part of a team supervising children aged 4-11 years old before and after school.
Responsibilities included;
Organising and supervising various activities for the children to take part in,
from dodge ball to obstacle courses
Planning events activities for the club
Administrative tasks including maintain registers, collecting money, producing
letters for parents.
I had a great relationship with all the staff, children and parents and thoroughly
enjoyed my role at the school.

WallTransform Ltd. 2012/13


During my free time in between studying and football coaching I worked as a labourer
at a local construction company. I was responsible for packaging products, and
storing them on pallets so theyre ready for delivery. I was also required to stock
check and replenish low stock when it was needed.

Vocational Experience

I have excellent experience coaching junior football. I have coached girls and boys of
a variety of ages for over six years, having worked in professional environments such
as Middlesbrough Football Club.

Work Experience 2006


I worked at Clairville Athletics Stadium, helping to organise and prepare for events
and managing the condition of the stadium. During my school years I was involved in
organising multi-sports events and tournaments.

Interests

My main passion in life is football, be it coaching youth players, playing competitively


or going to watch games, football is my life. I also have a big interest in other sports
such as cricket, tennis and golf. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends,
keeping fit and spending time with my family I also enjoy seeing new places and love
to travel when the opportunity presents itself.
