How To Connect Azonix To VM

Connect to the Azonix machine using VNC Viewer. Update the TightVNC files and remove the existing startup shortcut. Create a new WinVNC.bat file that runs vncviewer.exe to connect to another machine on restart. Restarting the Azonix machine will now automatically connect to the other machine using VNC.

Run VNC Viewer on any of GBCONTROL, GBMODEL, or GBBACKUP; connect to the Azonix
machine (192.168.91.11).
2. In the Azonix machine, right-click on the VNC icon in the notification area and click Close VNC.
This will stop the VNC server on the Azonix and close your connection.
3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to \\192.168.91.11\c$\INSITE\Bin\
4. Overwrite the old TightVNC files in this location with the new ones.
5. Navigate to the startup folder at \\192.168.91.11\c$\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup
6. You should see a shortcut to the VNC server in this location. Delete this shortcut. If you do not
see this shortcut, check in \\192.168.91.11\c$\Documents and Settings\gbadmin\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup
7. Once the shortcut is deleted, create a file in the startup folder named WinVNC.bat
8. Right-click this new file and edit
9. Enter the following line into the file and save:
C:\INSITE\Bin\vncviewer.exe fullscreen 192.168.91.30
10. Restart the Azonix machine. When it boots it should connect to the virtual machine.
