Introduction

This instructional material was designed to help Grade 7 students in their first and second quarter mathematics lessons based on an achievement test given to Grade 8 students. The test identified topics in algebra that less than 30% of students answered correctly, such as solving equations using algebraic expressions and conversion and rational expressions. Introduction

- Concepts
This instructional material is designed to aid the least
learned lessons of Grade 7 in their first to second quarter lessons.
We conducted achievement test to the Grade 8 students in Prosperidad
National High School in order for us to identify their least learned
lessons during their Grade - 7 Discussion
first to second quarter. The items
indicated in the achievement test are based to the K-12 Curriculum
Guide Mathematics. We gave them 30 items with 8 topics that was
under first and second quarter. We had 30 respondents. After we had
given them the achievement test we checked their papers and
explicitly examined their least learned item by calculating the
percentage of the students who- Examples
got the correct answers. The items
where at least 30% of them got the correct answer are not indicated
in this instructional Material while the items where below 30% of
them got the correct answer are the topics that should be indicated
in this instructional material. The topics where below
30% of them got the correct answer are Solving
- Answer
Equations using Keyexpression, Conversion
algebraic
and Rationl Expression.
