Noise Blinking LED: Circuit Microphone Noise Warning System
Noise Blinking LED: Circuit Microphone Noise Warning System
It has been observed since then that one of the major problem encountered by the
librarian is the noise created by the students or researchers in the library.
Unconsciously unaware noisy researchers disturbed other people inside the library who
are concentrating and busy with their researches, assignments and reviews.
It is for this reason why I come up with a case study on Library Noise Warning System
using Sound Level Sensor so that each people inside the library will become aware of the noise
since there is a warning system that will automatically detect noise and will give them the
warning signal that they are inside the library so they will keep quiet.

Case Presentation
The sound level sensor is able to measure noise levels in decibels (dB) at frequencies
around 3-6kHz where the human ear is most sensitive. When you make a loud noise, the
diaphragm vibrates and thus the attached coil moves in the magnetic field, producing current. A
microphone is distinguishable by the voltage value produced when a known, constant sound
pressure is applied. This is known as the microphone sensitivity. The instrument needs to know
the sensitivity of the particular microphone being used. Using this information, the instrument is
able to accurately convert the electrical signal back to a sound pressure, and trigger the sound
level detector making an output of blinking LED.
