    Investment Analyst

    Sports Direct is the UKs leading sports retailer by revenue and operating profit, and the owner of a
    significant number of internationally recognised sports, leisure and fashion brands.
    Sports Direct operates approximately 455 sports stores in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern
    Ireland), c. 427 of which trade under the SportsDirect.com fascia. Our Premium Lifestyle division
    operates c. 90 stores in the UK under the Flannels, Cruise, USC and Van Mildert fascias. We also
    operate over 250 sports stores in 20 European countries, with a group-wide strategy to continue our
    expansion into all the major EEA countries.
    Sports Direct Property is a propco, wholly owned by Sports Direct. We deploy multiple strategies across
    investments in the UK and EMEA, while operating as a boutique fund, within a highly dynamic and
    entrepreneurial environment.
    We are looking for an Investment Analyst to sit within Sports Direct Property and support the full
    lifecycle of investment and asset management initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity, with broad and
    varied responsibilities, that will continually develop to meet the needs of the business. The role is based
    in London. Pay is competitive and will be with experience.
    Key Responsibilities
    Typically, Investment Analyst work will include:

    Financial analysis and modelling at an asset, portfolio or market level


    Market level review, strategy and go forward analysis, from conception to execution
    Development of investment committee presentations, board packs, market summary and so
    forth
    Assistance in the diligence and execution of transactions
    Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
    Data analysis and visualization to support dynamic investment strategy
    Refining of internal investment and asset management processes
    Post-acquisition transition, strategy and execution of value enhancement strategies
    Asset valuation, budgeting and on-going underwriting
    Analysis relating to retail/op-co elements, market position and/or individual disposal strategies

    Candidate Specifications/Requirements

    Highly numerate with a good understanding of real estate concepts


    Pro-active, self-motivated and adept at using own initiative to be effective
    Interest in working in a non-hierarchical and entrepreneurial environment
    Intellectual curiosity and ability to make sound, independent judgements
    Perseverance and stamina in executing on a highly demanding work load
    Excellent attention to and care for a high standard of detail in all work
    Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work quickly under pressure
