Gencon II Pro Features

This document provides an overview and specifications of the GENCON II PRO computer system for measuring, protecting, managing, and monitoring generator sets. The system consists of three main parts: the GENCON unit for computation and communication, an I/O board for additional analog and digital inputs, and an AVR interface module. It can measure over 30 electrical parameters of 3-phase generators and engines. It also provides protective functions for generators and engines based on adjustable trip points and time delays. The system has relays that can be used for direct engine management and control.

1 General
GENCON R
is a comprehensive computer system for 1.2 IOB2
the measurement, protection, management, parallel-
ing and remote monitoring of generator-sets. The
system is designed for OEMs, putting the emphasis
on software flexibility using the GENCON R
sys-
tem enables the OEM to manufacture a single con-
trol panel that fits practically all generator-set appli-
cations.
The GENCON R
system is made of three parts:
An auxiliary input/output board with digital and
analog channels that mainly serves the engine (IOB1
