Concepts
(Sight words are high frequency words
left/right
empty/full that children are likely to encounter in
same/different everyday language and text and these
day/night need to be read at sight. Many of these
up/down do not sound the way they are spelled
in/out so they should be learnt as one unit and
big/small
not as phonetically blend-able letters.)
