The key takeaways are the steps involved in modeling a building structure in STAAD Pro, applying different load cases like dead load, live load, wind load and seismic load, and designing concrete members as per IS 456 code.

The steps involved are opening a new project, selecting the model type as frame, entering the structural parameters, creating the 3D structure, assigning member properties, applying supports, defining load cases and performing analysis.

The different load cases considered are dead load, live load, wind load in four directions (+X, -X, +Z, -Z) and seismic load in two directions (X and Z direction).

EQUIVALENT STATIC METHOD

1. MODELING BUILDING
1. Open STAAD.Pro Select New project. Open Structure Wizard.

2. Select Model Type as Frame Model (Grid Frame) and Provide required Parameters of the Structure.
