Chapter 1.1: USB Cable Driver Install
1.1 Driver Install
Step 1: Find the file of qualcomm_Setup.exe path. (Attention: Do not connect the cable with
PC, when you install the USB Driver.)

Step 4: COM PORT inspection, Cell phone Power off status, and press the volume up, volume
down at the same time, as figure 1.1-6, and then connect computer with USB cable. If devices
manager pop up COM port as figure 1.1-7, the driver installation is normal. Please disconnect the
phone with computer.

Chapter 1.2: Software upgrade procedure
1.2 Software Upgrade Procedure
Attention: For using the Flash tool to download software for handset, you must keep the battery
have enough power to support the download process. Otherwise, maybe the handsets memory
will be broken by the suddenly interrupted. Or the RF parameter will be losing by the unfinished
upgrade process.
Step 1: Run QFIL, the QFIL window shows as below

Step 2: Click Browse to select programmer MBN file. The programmer is usually
located in the folder (from boot build):

Step 3: Once selected file, Select programmer, Select Build search path will be
updated with the location of this programmer automatically.

Regarding to the SW downloading, currently we have two options as below:
Option 1: rawprogram_unsparse (will lose RF calibration data as well as WIFI/BT address and
IMEI, needs to rewrite these information back after downloading)
Option 2: rawprogram_unsparse_without_QCN (will not lose data, doesnt need to rewrite)
Step 4: Load XML, select rawprogram_unsparse_without_QCN.xml as Figure 1.2-4, and
then select patch0.xml as figure 1.2-5, and then as figure 1.2-6.

Step 5: Cell phone Power off status, and press the volume up, volume down at the same time, as
figure 1.2-7, and then connect computer with USB cable.
