All computers and monitors turned on and properly functioning

All previous students logged out, ready for student login

SMART board projector on (if using)

Teacher logged into teacher station

SMART Sync running at teacher station - used to monitor students

Workstations clear of trash or papers from previous students

Chairs pushed in

While Using the Lab


Students logged into individual drives, not generic "student" accounts
Teacher monitoring students' use of computers and Internet - various applications blocked
that students do not need for that lab time.
Students remain off of SMART board PC and Teacher station (Unless needed)

Report any technical problems/printer jams

Reload printer paper if out

After Using the Lab


All computers and monitors turned on and functioning properly (Unless last period of the
day, then please turn everything off)
All students logged out and ready for new students to log in

Printer showing "Ready" status - not jammed

SMART board projector off

Teacher logged off of teacher station

SMART board PC logged off

Workstations clear of trash or papers from students

Chairs at each workstation pushed in and in proper position

Keyboard and mouse at each workstation present and presentable

Immediately report any broken equipment or technical problems

Before Using the Mobile Lab


The switch on the back of the laptop cart is switched to External Power On to allow
connection to the wireless internet
Internet cord plugged into an active internet port

Teacher logged into teacher station (First laptop in the cart)

SMART Sync running at teacher station - used to monitor students

While Using the Mobile Lab


Students logged into individual drives, not generic "student" accounts
Teacher monitoring students' use of computers and Internet - various applications blocked
that students do not need for that lab time.
Students remain off of the Teacher station (Unless needed)

Report any technical problems/printer jams

Reload printer paper if out

After Using the Mobile Lab


All computers functioning properly and turned off

Printer showing "Ready" status - not jammed


The switch on the back of the laptop cart is switched to Internal Power On to allow
computers to be recharged
Laptops are placed in the correct slot, numerically ordered

Laptops are fully plugged into their individual outlets (required for them to recharge)

Internet cable is unplugged and neatly wound up on the top of the laptop cart

Laptop cart is plugged in to an outlet to recharge laptops

Immediately report any broken equipment or technical problems
