1. OBJECTIVE:-
To describe the detailed procedure for Cleaning of Down Flow Sampling Booth.
2. SCOPE:-
This procedure is applicable to Down Flow Sampling Booth.
3. RESPONSIBILITY:-
3.1. Q.C Executive / Officer: To ensure that cleaning is done as per the current
version of approved procedure.
3.2. Operator / Cleaner : To clean area and / or Down Flow Sampling Booth.
4. CLEANING AND DISINFECTANT / ITEMS :-
4.1. Cleaning &Disinfectant Agent : 1% v/v liquid soap, 2.5% v/v Dettol, Tap
water,
70% IPA, 2.5% phenyl, 2.5% spiral HD.
4.2. Cleaning Items : Bucket scrapper, Nylon Brush, Vacuum
Cleaner,
Mop, Lint free cloth, Spray Bottle.
5. PROCEDURE:-
5.1. Floor:-
5.1.1. Remove the unwanted material, labels, seals, poly bags, weighing
equipments from the booth.
5.1.2. Sweep off the floor using nylon brush or nylon scrapper or by
vacuum cleaner.
5.1.3. Clean the floor with 1% v/v liquid soap.
5.1.4. Clean the floor with disinfectant solution.
5.2. Furniture's & Fixtures:-
5.2.1. Clean the surfaces to balance, furniture and fixture with wet lint free
cloth dipped into 1% v/v liquid soap.
5.2.2. Then wipe with disinfectant solution
5.2.3. Finally wipe dry using lint free cloth.
5.3. Down Flow Sampling Booth :-
5.3.1. Clean the surfaces internally and externally using wet lint free cloth
initially with liquid soap followed by disinfectant solution.
5.3.2. Wipe the filter grills with disinfected solution using wet cloth.
5.3.3. Clean the acrylic sheet of light.
5.3.4. Wipe the magnahelic gauge with the disinfectant solution using wet
cloth.
5.3.5. Finally spray with the 70% IPA in and around the down flow
Sampling booth to control the microbial contamination.
6. CLEANING FREQUENCY:-
6.1. Daily (Before start of day &end of day).
6.2. As and when required.
7. CLEANING RECORD:-
Maintain the cleaning record as per Annexure-1.
