Course Description The 1 - unit subject is designed to introduce to the students the history, branches, and even daily and
industrial viabilities of Chemistry. It centers on the study of the composition, structure, changes and
properties of matter as expressed in its basic unit as atom. In addition, this course will also acquaint
the students on the history and properties revolving the formation of the periodic table of elements
which includes electronic configuration, quantum numbers, periods and groupings of elements,
valence electrons and trends.

Vision An institution responsible in the education, formation and training of competent technical professionals
who are contributing to a better Philippine Society and Global Community.
Mission The College of Technological Sciences - Cebu believes in and is committed to the formation of young
Filipinos and as responsive and competent individuals in the field of Science and Technology.

Programs Outcomes The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with specialization in Electrical Technology aims to

1. Obtain a National Competency Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance issued by the
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority;
2. Demonstrate academic as well as technical competence of the electrical wiring installation and
maintenance as well as industry related fields;

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with specialization in Electronics Technology aims to

1. Obtain a National Competency Certificate in Consumer Electronics Servicing/ Electronics Product


Assembly and Servicing issued by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority;
2. Demonstrate academic as well as technical competence of the management and manipulation of
electronic products;
3. Innovate new models and trends of electronic products;
4. Demonstrate the ability to conduct electronic product servicing and management in the industrial
electronic field; and
5. Manifest aesthetic and ethical values.

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with specialization in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
aims to produce graduates who are able to:

1. Obtain a National Competency Certificate in Domestic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning issued by
the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority;
2. Demonstrate academic as well as technical competence of the management and manipulation of
refrigeration and air conditioning products;
3. Install refrigeration and air conditioning products; and
Manifest aesthetic and ethical values.
Course Intended At the end of the course, students must be able to:
