The FAT Test procedure# D6848-VD-SAH01-01H13-0001, is checked and found that it is the PERTA

standard procedure which is used internally also and used from long time. Same I have used in many
inspection and found approved for many project.

The Request for quotation and design document# E840144-001 for HVAC has been checked and found
that the applicable specification are 27-SAMS-002, 34-SAMSS-831, SAES-H101V, SAES-K-001, SAES-K-
002, SAES-K-003, SAES-K-100, 12-SAMSS-007, 17-SAMSS-515, 17-SAMSS-503, SAES-K-101, special from
for HVAC power panel and special form 175 for HVAC control panel.

The applicability of above mentioned specification has been checked and found that :

1. Regarding the applicability of 12-SAMS-007, clause 1 SCOPE : states that Offshore structures
and pre-engineered metal buildings are excluded from this specification. So, as per my
interpretation it should not be applicable for base frame structure of package unit.
2. Regarding the applicability of 34-SAMSS-831 instrumentation for package units As per my
previous experience the PETRA do not comply to this specification. Always PERTA states that
Electrical panel shall be as per PETRA Standard. So, to be confirm from Design that it shall be
complied or can be excluded.
3. Regarding the applicability of 17-SAMSS-515, Auxiliary Electrical Systems for Skid-Mounted
Equipment As per my previous experience the PETRA do not comply to this specification.
Always PERTA states that it will be as per PETRA Standard. So, to be confirm from Design that it
shall be complied or can be excluded.
4. Regarding the applicability of the SAES-H-101V and SAES-H-001, which are related to painting.
WESCOSA is not complying to these specification. The have the special powder coating system
for unit casing and base structure. Regarding this painting PERTA is submitting the painting
procedure for approval. So, take design department view on it.

Except that other mentioned specification shall be applicable.

ITP review:
The ITP has been reviewed and found that it is PETRA general ITP. The observation made regarding
the ITP:
(

Conditioning Systems for Offshore Facilities), Form 175-170200 ( motors) , Special form
175( HVAC power panel & special form 175 ( HVAC control panel) Shall be mentioned
in ITP.
3. The ITP does not have the separate in process inspection section & final inspection
section. These shall be two separate section for in process inspection and final inspection
based on the applicable form 175. It is the requirement for level 2 and above inspection
requirement.
4. In ITP all pints for Mc dermott and TPI are mentioned as review. These shall be changed
