HOW TO CREATE ENDMILL

1. Step 1

create circle 50mm dia on the front plane.

2. Step 2

extruded boss/base 250mm.


create sketch on this face.
3. Step 3

something like this

4. Step 4

exit sketch.
create new sketch on the same face.
5. Step 5

create circle 50mm,


create helix:
pitch 300mm
rev. 0,5
start angle 0
clockwise
...exit sketch.
6. Step 6

cut-sweep using sketch and helix

7. Step 7

create sketch on this face:

8. Step 8
Right click on edge - select loop - convert entities.
exit.

9. Step 9

new sketch on same face:


create circle 50mm

10.Step 10
and then create TAPER helix.

11. Step 11

cut-sweep

create Axis
13.Step 13

circular pattern

14.Step 14

...just sharpen it... :)


Here is the tutorial.

1. Step 1

Front plane>>Sketch.

2. Step 2

Draw this profile.


3. Step 3

Exit the sketch. Right plane>>Sketch.

4. Step 4

Draw a ellipse.
5. Step 5

Exit the sketch. Now curves>>Project curve.

6. Step 6

Select both sketch with projection type sketch on sketch.


7. Step 7

Filled surface.

8. Step 8

Select the curve.


9. Step 9

Thicken it and we have a star.

10.Step 10

Create a axis about top plane and origin.


11. Step 11

Circular pattern the body about axis1 and we have the abstract star pattern.
