DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

CAD LAB

Dos
Enter the lab only after getting permission from the lab in charge.
Wear only prescribed uniform.
Read and understand how to carry out an activity thoroughly before
coming to the laboratory.
Know the location of the fire extinguisher and the first aid box and
how to use them in case of an emergency.
Report fires or accidents to your Staff Member immediately.
Report any broken plugs or exposed electrical wires to your A Staff
Member immediately.
Wear shoes with rubber soles while working.
Sign in the register before taking the tool & and after returning the
same.
Switch ON/OFF the fans, lights equipments with dry hand.

Donts
Dont make noise.
Dont scatter around unwanted things while doing an experiment.
Dont switch ON/OFF the fans, lights and equipments with wet hand.
Do not eat or drink in the laboratory.
Avoid stepping on electrical wires or any other computer cables.
Do not open the system unit casing or monitor casing particularly
when the power is turned on. Some internal components hold high
electric voltages, which can be fatal.
Do not insert metal objects such as clips, pins and needles into the
computer casings. They may cause fire.
Do not remove anything from the computer laboratory without
permission.
Do not touch, connect or disconnect any plug or cable without your
lecturer/laboratory technicians permission.
Do not misbehave in the computer laboratory.
Do Not Use Pen drive/USB Flash / Mobile Phone inside Laboratory,
Which is Strictly Banned.
Do not read or modify other users' files.
