2. Why mechanical engineering?
3. Why IT even though you are a mechanical engineer?
4. Why Infosys?
5. Explain about your D&F and final year project?
6. What is your area of interest and few basic questions on that?
7. What is your project uses and how can you implement it commercially and make it
viable?
8. Difficulties faced during your project and how you overcome it?
9. Preferred job location?

Interview II (HR):

All Basic questions from the resume like schooling, sports, extra-curricular activities, things
you are passionate about, hobbies and interests etc.
Batch 2013

Vishwanth:
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Explain your project.
3. What is your role in your project?
4. Why Infosys being mechanical engineer?
5. What have you done to move to IT industry in these 4 years?
6. Future plans.

Anand:
General questions only from the resume
1. What is the role in every activity you did in college?
2. Why Infosys?
3. What did you learn from college life?
4. What kind of job do you expect to do in Infosys?

Arunachalam:
No Technical, No computer science, No C C++.
General questions only.... The interview went for about 15 minutes.
How are you...?? Feeling nervous..??
1. Looking at my resume, she asked me you got more than 90% in 10th and 12th but less in
your college. Why?
2. How do you study? (Whether only before exam or during unit test itself.)
Nearly for 5 minutes she observed my answer.
3. Some questions from my project. (She asked everything line by line from RESUME)
4. Software skills. (I mentioned in my resume that I know ANSYS, PRO-E)
5. About Crank-X. (Again from my RESUME since I was the event coordinator of Glider
event)
6. What is SAE?
7. Then about BAJA? (But she didnt know about it. So no problem at all)
8. What is your role in BAJA?
9. What are the problems faced in it?
10. What softwares have you used for BAJA?
11. Why you havent got selected for Round-2 in BAJA? (I said before we havent got
qualified for round 2.)
12. What mistakes you did that made you not getting qualified?
13. Why software company being mechanical engineer?
14. Why Infosys?
15. What will you do in your spare time?
16. Have you got any achievement in sports?
