Capped Fuse Systems

A non-electric shocktube starter consisting of


either a 1.2m long capped Durafuse assembly
or a 2.1m long capped Stopefuse 290 assembly.
The AEL shocktube starter is available in two
product ranges. The first range is comprised of
a red capped Stopefuse length packaged in a
box containing 50 units. The second range
comprises of 100 units of green capped Durafuse.
A hollow polyethylene body (minidet tube) is
fitted over the detonator and crimped over it
with an aluminium ferrule.
