) is a county in Urmia County
West Azerbaijan Province in Iran.
The capital of the county is Urmia. County
At the 2006 census, the county's
population was 856,914, in 215,342
families.[1] The county has ve cities:
Urmia, Qushchi, Silvaneh, Serow,
and Nushin. 90% of the population
are Azarbaijanis and 10% are
Kurdish, Armenian and Assyrian.
