1. Create a database called [Your Name]Job prospects.

2. Create a Table called contact list. (1Mark)
3. Create following fields within the table.
a. Contact ID
b. First_Name
c. Last_Name
d. Gender
e. Tel
f. Local
g. Company
h. Address
i. Salary intake (7 Marks)
4. Format the table as follows.
a. Set the field size of the first_name to 20. (1Mark)
b. Set the field size of the Last_name to 20. (1Mark)
c. Limit the telephone numbers to 7 digits. (1Mark)
d. Set the data type for address as memo. (1Mark)
e. Set the validation rule so that only F or M can be entered for the
gender (2Marks)
f. Set the datatype for salary as currency. (1Mark)
g. Set the data type for Local as Yes/No (1 Mark)

Create a second database


Visit the website hcitquiz.weebly.com and download all the Excel files listed on the page.

1. Create a database entitled [your name] Movies. (1 Mark)


2. Import all the tables all eight (8) excel files into your database as separate tables
using the corresponding Excel names. (16 Marks)
3. Set the appropriate primary key for each table. (8 Marks)
4. Set the data type of all the ID fields to number. (8 Marks)
5. Create a 9th table called Gender. (1 Mark)
a. It should contain the fields GenderID and GenderName.
b. GenderName should be Male, Female (2 Marks)
6. In the Actor table, change the datatypes of the Gender ID field to a lookup that will
access and display the genderID field in the Gender table. (2 Marks)
7. In the field properties
a. Set the field size of each Name field (Example ActorName , StudioName)
to 25. (8 Marks)
8. Create a relationship between all the tables created. (8 Marks)
9. Create 8 forms which correspond with the names of each of the tables which were
created. (8 Marks)
10. Create the following queries.
a. All males (1 Mark)
b. All females (1 Mark)
c. All female actors born after January 1, 1970. Save this query as Females born
after 1970. (2 Marks)
d. All movies created in Touchstone Studio. (1 Mark)
e. Films with more than 5 Oscar nominations. (1 Mark)
f. Films produced in the German language. (1 Mark)
g. The cast and director of King Kong. (1 Mark)
11. Create reports based on the following queries:
a. All males (1 Mark)
b. All females (1 Mark)
c. All female actors born after January 1, 1970 (1 Mark)
d. All movies created in Touchstone Studio. (1 Mark)
