El Centro Earthquake Data Analysis

The document summarizes an analysis of the response of a single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) structural system to the 1940 El Centro earthquake. It describes importing acceleration data recorded from the earthquake, separating the data into time and acceleration components, plotting a spectrogram and power spectrum of the acceleration data, and modeling the displacement response of the SDOF system using the recorded ground acceleration as input.

El Centro Earthquake Data Analysis

Introduction
This application analyzes the response of a SDOF to the 1940 El Centro earthquake. It uses acceleration
data recorded from a seismograph located near the fault line
