Example - Bar: Examples - Chapter 3, W Kuntjoro 1

This document provides an example of analyzing the displacements, internal forces, and reactions of a three-bar frame structure and a two-bar truss structure under applied loads. The three-bar frame is modeled as three frame elements connected at three nodes. Node displacements are solved for using the assembled structural stiffness matrix. Internal forces and reactions are then determined from the element equations based on the calculated displacements. A similar process is shown for the two-bar truss using two truss elements modeled with appropriate angle-dependent stiffness terms. Key steps and results are shown for both examples.
