Beforehackingthepowersupply,pleasemakesureitisn'tpluggedin.

Hackingapowersupplyiseasy.Youonlyhavetoconnectthegreencablewith
ablackcable(ground).Makesurenottosolderthetwo,becauseincaseofa
shortcircuityouhavetodisconnectthetwocablesandreconnecttheminorder
toresetthefuseinthepowersupply(It'sagoodideatoputinaswitch).

Thepowersupplywillstartrunning,assoonasthegreencableisconnectedto
theground.NowyouhaveaDCpowersupply!

Tousethepowersupply,striparedcable(5V)andablackcable(ground).Itis
alsousefultostripayellowcable(12V)oranorangecable(3,3V)forthemilling
motorandacoolingfan.Putthestrippedcablesintoaclamp.

muchspaceforsoldering,soyouneedpatienceandacalmhand.
Youcansimplifythisstep,ifyousolderthecablesontotheribboncable,which
isalreadyattachedtothesteppers.Justcutinbetweenthetracks,andyoucan
solderthecablestotheribboncable.Toavoidshortcurcuits,insulatethe
connections.

Tomakethedevicelookbetterintheend,iusedastaplerandstapledthe
cablestothewood.Itlooksnicerandmoreorganised.

Sincethereisn'tthepossibilitytoputscrewsintoyourslides,youhavetotakea
goodglue(Iusedatwocomponentadhesive).Cutawoodenplatformforthe
baseaxis(theYAxis)andglueittotheplasticontheslide.

Afterthat,glueapieceofwood,whichisaswideasyourZAxisslide,totheX
Axis.

Whenyourglueisdry,drillholesintothelargepieceofwood,whichisattached
toyourXAxis.Theholeshavetomatchthedistanceoftheholes,whicharein
yourZAxisslide.

Nowthateverythingisprepared,youcanscrewtheYAxistothegroundandthe
XAxisontothetwopillars.Whenthisisdone,youcanattachtheZAxistoyour
