This document provides tables with estimates of weekday peak hour vehicle trips generated by general office and general retail land uses of different sizes. For offices, it gives trip estimates per square foot of gross floor area and distinguishes rates if the office is near a Metro station or part of a large single-employer building. For retail, it provides separate rates for buildings with and without a major food chain store. Special calculation methods are described for buildings over a certain size.
