The Antonio G. Tuason National High School celebrated their annual English festival from November 14-30, 2016 with the theme of promoting communication through creative expression in English. A variety of activities such as quizzes, poster making, essays, declamations, spelling bees, poetry, roles plays, and an amazing race were held. The event launched on November 14 after announcing the schedule and importance of English. It showcased students' English talents in writing, speaking, and arts. The activities were made possible through efforts of teachers, students, and the English club led by the school head.

ENGLISH MONTH NARRATIVE REPORT

Antonio G. Tuason National High School celebrated the


annual English festival last November 14 30, 2016. With the
theme English Language: Making an edge in communication
through creative expressions, an array of activities was
conducted to promote and appreciate the use of the second
language.

The launching of activities was conducted last November 14,


2016 after the CICAA 2016. The list of activities and competitions
were announced on the launching and the English month
coordinator highlighted the importance of the English language in
the lives of the students. The list of activities and the schedules
were also posted together with the mechanics and criteria

The English festival is a month long event showcasing the


students talents and skills in writing, speaking, dancing, theater
arts, and their capacity in using the English language. Other
activities were Quiz Bee, Poster Making, Essay Writing,
Declamation, Spelling Bee, Poetry Recital, Role Play, and the
Amazing Race.

The event was made possible through the concerted efforts


of the Teachers and students, led by Mr. Rhodmanric V. Roma
School Head. The activities were prepared/ coordinated by the
members of the English Club, English Teachers and together with
the English Coordinator.
