Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb
The Honorable Juries of English Speech Contest
Ladies and Gentleman
First of all, Lets thank to Allah SWT, the most merciful and the
most gracious, the lord of the world, the master of the day after, the
creator of everything in this universe, Who has given us healthy until this
time so we can gather here in this event. And dont forget to send our
loves to our prophet, Muhammad SAW, because he has brought us from
the darkness into the brightness and guided us into the right way of life.
Secondly, I woud like say thank you to the juries that has given me
a chance to stand in here. So in this good opportunity, I would like to
deliver a speech with the title Young generation preparation to
encounter AEC ( Asean Economic Community)
Ladies and Gentlemen
What is definition of AEC ? AEC (Asean Economic Community) is
the cooperation of countries in the Southeast Asia region in
implementing the free trade system. As we know, in the last date of
2015 AEC is already implemented, and Indonesia should begin to
compete with other countries especially in Southeast Asia region in
economic.
In doing the cooperation with other countries, of course, we must
have good communication skills, the creation of good communication in
needed for understanding each other in the language. Because all
countries in the world have different language and have their own
national language. Even though we dont know the language of every
country but that is important for us to capable and fluent in English
language, because English is the Internasional language which that is
always used to communicate various countries in the world. In the free
trade system English Languange very useful for transaction with other
countries. Then, What kind of preparation to encounter AEC for
Indonesian community, especially for the young generation?
Well, We as the young generation to encounter AEC have to ability
to speak English very well. Although now, we have not been directly
involved in this free trade system, but in the next years, we will to be
economic actors, and of course we need to be ready compete, not
learning phase again. Beside that, we are the young generation have to
socialize AEC to Indonesian community, because in the fact that the
majority of Indonesian community didnt understand the true meaning of
AEC and the worst fact, there are Indonesian Community who have
never heard about AEC, because of that we are the young generation
should be act. The next way to encounter AEC, we can also to be young
entrepreneur, or helps businesses parents, relatives, friends and others.
So that new businesses will emerge and sustain our countrys economy
and can compete with other countries, and finally we can benefit from
this free trade system and Indonesia became prosperous Community in
economics.
Therefore as the younger generation, from now we should really
prepare ourself to become economic actors in free trade system in the
next years. We have set up the ablity, such as in language or business,
we should study hard for it. We also have to erase our bad habit, and
the important point is there are no stupid people, but there are only a
lazy person. So, lets start to be Smart People for Indonesia, right now.
So that, in the next years, the young generation can make Indonesia to
be central trade in southeast Asia even in the world. I would like to say
The young generation with big dreams never spend the time with
unimportant things.
