The Process of Color Subtraction

This document discusses the principles of color subtraction: - Color subtraction describes how materials absorb specific frequencies of light and reflect the remaining frequencies, determining the object's appearance. - For example, a yellow shirt absorbs blue light, so when white light (containing red, green, and blue) shines on it, it reflects red and green light and appears yellow. - Color subtraction can be represented through equations showing the initial and remaining light frequencies.
