Flood frequency Analysis (Total marks 2) 0.5

No details on frequency calculations page 36 pdf. You need to show


detail procedure and explain the steps of how did you get the flow of
different return periods. Just showing the magnitude does not
demonstrate if the correct procedure was followed. This is particularly
important where any answer is possible (as in this case) but depends
on the assumptions you made and rational you used to make such
assumptions.

Culvert design: (Total marks 3) 3

Good but more explain would be better.

Drainage Design: (Total Marks 5) 0.5


Longest time of concentration is not to be assumed (page 15)
but to be calculated.
It is not communicated properly how the time of concentration
were determined.
You are mixing the units. Discharge calculated in page 16 is
3.13 m3/s (page16) whereas you used it as 3.13 L/s in page 19.
Pipe should be designed inlet to inlet. You have not identified
inlet locations how did you determine pipe sections like FG or
GH etc?
Why design steps are repeated page 20-22 and 29-33.
