By the end of the unit, students will be able to:
Psychomotor:

Demonstrate with strong effort and display active participation in
cardiovascular/muscular strength activities that include
jumping/landing, locomotor movements and other various fitness
related activities.
Cognitive:
(C)
Identify at least 2 exercises associated with cardiovascular
fitness/muscular strength and at least 2 ways exercise benefits the
human body.
Affective:
(A)
work cooperatively with others and display safety throughout
each fitness activity.
Grading Policy
Effort: 60%
Student arrives to physical education class
cooperatively and displays proper classroom behavior.
Student is consistently active in the lesson,
displays good effort.
Unit Quiz: 25%
Summative assessment focused on the
student learning objectives and unit outcomes for
fitness.
Safety in PE Class: 15%
Student consistently displays safe behavior.
Follows classroom rules and all safety
considerations in order to keep all students safe in PE
class.
