Explain: There were variety of groups. Teacher had whole class discussion during the
lecture. Then, students worked on the assignments as small group. At the end of the
lesson, students had individual practice.

Explain: Overall student behavior was acceptable. Students who were intervened for
their behavior responded positively. Teacher reminded some of the class rules during
the lesson. Transitions were effective and there were no time lost. Teacher seemed very
caring.
Overall, the lesson was delivered effectively. Having variety of groupings and activities
was one of the reasons why the lesson was successful. Teacher attempted to engage
all students by asking open-ended questions, group discussions, walking around the
monitor the students and giving instant feedback about their questions and struggles.
Teacher kept referring to the objective throughout the lesson. The objectives and
agenda were posted clearly on the board. Utilizing 5E teaching model with scaffolding
was very effective for student learning.
