Classroom Technology Use Policy

(Insert school name) allows its students the privilege to use technology devices
(computers/iPads) within the classroom setting. I understand that my technology activity is to
follow the same rules as my classroom and my school. I agree to the following:

1. I will use the computers/iPads for school work only.


2. I will only use websites/apps a teacher instructs me to use.
3. I will not search for/look up any images, videos, or websites that would be

considered inappropriate for school.


4. I will not put any personal information, like my address or phone number, online.
5. I will not create a lock code/password for my computer/iPad.
6. I will respect the computer/iPad and not damage my own or my classmates.
7. I will not use the computer/iPad to bully or disrespect someone else.
8. If my computer/iPad is damaged I will report it to my teacher immediately.
9. If I discover any image, video, or website on my computer/iPad that would be

considered inappropriate for school, I will report it to my teacher immediately.


10. I also understand that my teacher has the right to look at my computer/iPad when

he/she sees fit.

I understand that if I do not follow the rules listed above, there will be consequences. My
technology use is a privilege, not a right, and can therefore be taken away.
