One Way Anova

Meagan tested whether the average number of cracker nuts per sachet was equal across different flavors of Hi-Ho Crunchy Cracker Nuts. An ANOVA analysis found that the FCalculated of 72.70 was greater than the FTabulated of 4.38, so the null hypothesis that the averages were equal was rejected. Therefore, there is evidence that the average number of cracker nuts per sachet is not the same across flavors of Hi-Ho Crunchy Cracker Nuts.

Meagan, a 15-year-old pre-pubescent teenage girl, was very

curious if the contents of different flavors Hi-Ho Crunchy Cracker
Nuts are the same. She asked, Is the average number of cracker
nuts per sachet of all the Hi-Ho Crunchy Cracker Nuts of different
flavors equal? Test the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance.
The data are listed below:

5. FCalculated = 72.70

6. Decision:
We reject the
null hypothesis since the
FCalculated (72.70) is greater than
FTabulated (4.38) at 0.05 level of
significance. There is sufficient
evidence to conclude that the
average number of cracker nuts
per sachet of all Hi-Ho Crunchy
Cracker Nuts of different
flavors are not equal.
