PROJECT GUIDELINES

CI 801

BTech CSE & IT 4th Year

1. The Project is to be completed in two parts Part-I, to be done in 7th semester and Part II,
which would necessarily be an extension of PartI, to be completed in the 8th semester.

2. Each project has to be done in a group the size of which should not exceed 3.

3. As the projects are to be based on the application of the learnt knowledge, a minimum of
9000 lines of codes should be expected from each group.

4. The above (point 3) applies in case of hardware based project also.

5. As far as possible creative and innovative ideas from students would be given due credit.

6. Each group will keep a Project-Diary in which record o f meeting with the supervisor,
study, lab work and results etc. should be entered day to day. The Project Diary will be
submitted at the end of every month to the HOD, CSE and IT.

7. The Project reports, Installation guides etc, will have to be submitted as per the academic
calendar received from the Registrars office.

8. Project proposals from the students are welcome provided they fit in our domain.
