PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

I. Currently working in Decathlon Sports India as Production Leader Industrialization and Quality (March
2016- Till now)

Roles and responsibilities:-


Managing business of 5 million euro.
Handling kids, mens, and womens Active wear Categories.
Responsible for Vendor panel management; proactively identify, developing, approving, and new vendors
based on our Compliance norms.
Production planning by coordinating with the fabric and accessory suppliers regarding the availability as
per the planned dates and ensure DOT is met.
Evaluating the all Cost Breakdown of the Product and Fix up the Right Vendor according to Target FOB.
Responsible for giving sample approval for Proto, FIT, size set and Master sample from supplier
Manage and maintain seasonal Design Development T&A calendars, anticipating obstacles, proactively
deliver solutions and driving continuous process improvement
Conducting the Pre production meeting with supplier and giving approval to commence the production;
perform in-line inspections, work-in-progress (cutting, bundling, sewing & finishing) and performing final
inspections of finished goods.
Work closely with Design /Buying teams in the development of the seasonal collections that are innovative,
directional, and satisfy the vision of the Brand while meeting the needs from the business.

II. Worked with Leading Garment manufacturer, Lenny Apparels Ltd. (Must Garment, HK) as Quality
manager - in Dhaka, Bangladesh. (Feb 2015- March 2016)

Roles and responsibilities:-


Worked with Brands like JC Penny, Walmart, GAP and Ann Taylor
Communicating with buyer on order confirmation, checking all the details closely and
passing all the necessary information to planning, production, fabric and trims department
Managing QA Team during inline and final inspections, organize and set pre-productions QC meetings/line
review meeting & ensuring all requirements are meet, critical risk analysis is done.
Developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage the different aspects of the Quality
management system to meet buyer requirements.
Proactively coordinated with factories, monitored quality systems with daily and weekly charts ensuring
timely dispatch of orderss
Analyzing the operation breakdown of the styles before the production to understand critical operations &
listing the methods of controlling them in the lines through process checkers.
Coordinate with social compliance auditors, testing laboratories, vendors and suppliers to ensure the
execution of corrective action and compliance as per required specifications and standards.
Making sure the Total quality management is applied in via tools like Kaizen, 5S and Lean
Management.
III. Worked with India leading Fabric Manufacturer, Arvind Limited, as Manager Marketing and Sales,
Ahmadabad, India. (June 2012 Feb 2015 )
Roles and responsibilities:-
Fabric marketing- US division, co-coordinating with buyer like GAP, Levis and VF.
Zonal marketing manager for domestic south zone fabric business development.
Marketing and sales of Denim, Poplins, Linen blends, Piece dyed, Voiles, Shirting, Printed fabric etc.,
Responsible for business development activities like meeting buyer, costing negotiation and meeting their
quality and delivery requirements.
Identifying Buyers fabric requirements & Quality specifications, developing suitable fabric suppliers for
the required quality in actual colour & count.
Co-coordinating in entire supply chain of product Management, from development to Bulk dispatch, in
time bond manner.
Responsible for data analysis of sales performance, and reporting to higher management.
Vendor management for outsourcing activity for Fabric Printing and dyeing.
o Handed entire supply chain of outsourcing activity, from grey fabric sourcing to outsourcing same
to vendor to get the finished fabric.
o Developing new vendor to get quality at optimum

Research Project in Master was Benchmarking and auditing of fabric utilization in cutting department of
Garment industry at Lectra Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore-78(Feb to May 2012).
Training at Lisa Apparels Pvt. Ltd. for 3 months and undertook project on Setting-Up the Industrial
Engineering department and streamlining the process (June 2011).
Marketing Project for Freudenberg Nonwovens India Pvt Ltd. (November 2010).
Engineering project on Recycling of fabric by using them in Composite (Jan to April 2010)

ACHIEVEMENTS:

University topper in 3rd year of Engineering.


Certification 'Lean Management', conducted by British Standards Institution at IIT, Roorkee.
