degradation due to long transmission distance and ensure readers normal
operation.
z For optimum read range, kindly use DC Linear power for the readers power
supply.
z Please add an isolator with proper thickness on the back of the reader if you are
to install it onto a metallic object to prevent interference.
z The distance between 2 readers should be 1.5 times the read range to prevent
radio frequency interference from each other.
z TXD2 and RXD2 are designated for RAC-2000PS compatible readers; kindly
use a 20AWG aluminum foiled-double shielded twisted pair cable.
z NODE ID 1 and 2 is allocated for Door 1 while NODE ID 3 and 4 is for Door 2.

NOTEThe readers power supply is provided by the control panels power supply. A
reader consumes averagely 200Ma power (please refer to the readers
specification.) Supply of power should increase with respect to transmission
distance and the numbers of readers installed. It is recommended to provide
a separate power supply for the reader. When the reader uses a separate
power supply, make sure the ground is connected with the control panel.
