Objective 2nd grade students will be able to correctly define goods


and services upon completion of the lesson two out of
Bloom's two times.
Taxonomy 2nd grade students will be able to correctly move goods
to the correct section of the bulletin board during their
Webb's Depth of turn three out of four times.
Knowledge 2nd grade students will be able to correctly move
(DOK) services to the correct section of the bulletin board
during their turn three out of four times.
Formative & Formative- Teacher will photograph the students final
Summative product of where they moved the goods and services to
Assessment in order to review to ensure that the student met the
Evidence objective as listed above.
Summative- Teacher will have students draw one
picture of a service and one picture of a good to place
in their 2nd grade portfolio.
ISTE Standards Weebly- we will begin creating a class website as we go
for Students through our unit defining vocabulary learned and topics
covered.

Lesson PreAssessment of Students
Procedure KWL Chart What do the students know about goods and
services, what do they want to know.
Modeling of the Concept
Teacher will first complete a web quest to explain the
definitions of goods and services to the students.
Teacher will then show pictures of different goods and
services to the students through the Web quest tool.
Teacher will put the students in pairs and demonstrate
how the bulletin board works. Students will be provided
with directions of how to complete the bulletin board
work. (Directions are also on the bulletin board, but
should be read for struggling readers).
Guiding the Practice
Teacher will walk around and photograph each students
work upon completion. Teacher will make any
suggestions or help students to change any incorrect
answers. Teacher will engage in conversation about why
certain items are goods and why some are services.
Providing the Independent Practice

Students will be asked to fold one sheet of paper in half.
On the left half write the word goods, define the word
goods, and draw a picture of one good. One the right
side they are to write the word services, define the word
services, and draw one picture of a service.
