Pappus Chain

The Pappus chain consists of circles inscribed within an arbelos shape so that each circle is tangent to the previous circle and the boundaries of the arbelos. The document explains that the heights of the circle centers form an arithmetic sequence related to the diameters. Additionally, all circle centers lie on an ellipse defined by the two outer circle tangency points. The chain is also an example of a Steiner chain formed by tangent circles.
