 THROATERS- NECK & THROATING REAMERS
Made for the wildcatter in HSS only. Our throater may be used to free bore a depth of about 3
inches if desired. The N&T reamers have minimum throats or can be ordered as customs.

BUSHINGS
Our bushings are customized to be interchangeable throughout our entire reamer and form tool
line. Bushing adapters allow larger bushings to fit on smaller tooling when needed.

 WILDCAT DEVELOPMENT

We at JGS provide assistance in wildcat development. We have blank prints with

instructions on the back; you fill out the print with your dimensions and send it in by
mail, e-mail or fax. We then process it through our computer program and it is
sent back to you for final approval. We can provide basic prints from our files along
with the blank print.

Prints can be developed from a cartridge sent to us. The cartridge must be exactly
as desired for the chamber. A throat also can be designed per your dummy round
with the bullet seated to desired depth. You as the customer, would advise
whether the bullet was to engrave or how much jump would be desired.

Production of a custom tool starts upon receipt of final print approval. See our
price sheet for the cost of our wildcat services.

For the addition or lengthening of forcing cones forward of the chamber area. Ground on taper
from bore to case dimensions. Available in HSS and Carbide

SPECIALITY TOOLING

Indicator Rods
Used to line up the barrel. The live pilot end with close fitting bushing is inserted
into the bore until the tapered section is a snug fit. A dial indicator is then used to zero the barrel.

Center Reamer

Used to establish a center in blank barrels from the rotary pilot riding in the bore so the
barrel can be centered properly and turned concentric with the bore.

A good crown can be generated parallel to the axis of the barrel when properly used.

 FLOATING REAMER HOLDERS

Small Holder
w/ 33 Jacobs

Small Holder
w/ Chuck

The small floating reamer holder accommodates reamers with 7/16" diameter shanks. The rear of
the holder has a female 33 Jacobs to use "off-the-shelf" shanks just as the Jacobs chucks use.
We do not recommend these for 50 & up calibers

Large Holder

The large version is used to chamber 50 BMG and larger. We have two versions to offer: one to
accomodate the 50 cal BMG's chambering and the other is designed to use in Gridley type
machines. These large holders are made to order only and are usually provided with oil flow
through holder and reamer.
