2. DESCRIPTION/JUSTIFICATION OF THE TECHNICAL DEVIATION/CHANGE
Proposal:
We propose ERW pipe for sizes DN400 and below instead of seamless.
As per ADEWA specification w-p-ss-002 pipe below DN400 shall be seamless

Justification:

All the approved vendors in Latest Transco vendor list either regret to supply the seamless pipe
pipes or not responded to the enquiry. Summary of regression/enquiry attached (attachment 2)
Mill certificate of the proposed pipes attached (attachment 2)

So we propose ERW pipes from M/s Hyundai/Korea for sizes DN400 and below

Cost Impact: 3216Nil
