Contour Drawing

A contour line defines the outline or edge of shapes in an image without shading. To create a contour drawing, study the object, find a starting point for your pen without lifting it, follow the lines with your eye and hand, and don't worry about mistakes. Blind contour drawing is done without looking at the paper to improve observation and hand-eye coordination.
