1 Conceptual Design Problem Set Assignment


In this conceptual design problem set assignment you will create one conceptual sketch of a new
automotive seat fabric design. You may use one fabric material or two different fabric materials to cover
the seat. Choose a color scheme from:

Light Gray Theme


Dark Gray Theme
Black Theme
Blue Theme
Red Theme

1.2 Final Deliverables


Submit your conceptual design in two file formats:

Format 1: DWG file


Format 2: PNG file

Detailed instructions on how to submit your work will be given via email from the instructor.

1.3 Instructions

1. Start a new SketchBook Designer file.


2. Insert provided PNG seat image file.
3. Trace the seat to produce the required outlines.
4. Fill, Shade, and Paint the seat outlines to produce required design theme.
