Guide of SDR commissioning and version upgrade by LMT
About this document guide site engineer commission SDR to up, and do version upgrade in local
site by LMT.
Prepare material needed on site:
1. laptop
2. Ethernet cable
3. LMT software like: \LMT.v12.12.10p29\\Release\copy_version
4. New 3G target version file like: V4.12.10.15P55
5. SDR configuration XML file like: XXXX.XML
1.SDR commissioning
1.1 Connect the SDR to your laptop
connect laptop to SDR-CC board DEBUG/LMT port with Ethernet cable
configure you laptop IP address as figure below
ip 192.254.1.11
mask 255.255.0.0
note: do not use the ip 192.254.1.16 , this IP reserved for SDR
1.2 Execute LMT software
Go to the folder where you copied the LMT version than Execute the EOMS
like:\LMT.v12.12.10p29\\Release\copy_version

1.3 Import XML file to SDR
a new window will be displayed
input the CC board IP address 192.254.1.16
no Gateway

login by user name: admin
no password
1.4 The SDR will be displayed as below figure
then click system-import to import XML file

click ok
choose this site XML file and click open to import
after the site reboot 5-10 minute, click the re-login, then lick OK

then click the EFMS, check the site alarm
initial alarm as figure below

1.5 SDR XML file import finish and handle related alarm
2.Version upgrade by LMT
2.1 Access LMT by below IP configuration
2.2 First finish XML configuration file import to eNodeB and appear alarm like below

2.3 Process of version upgrade
choose menuSystem-Version Management
click mouse right in windows of Localwill show Add to Lib and click it,
add new version to Local, include GSM/UMTS/PLAT pkg file

Download UMTS/PLAT file to Base Staion

Confirm download succeed ,and click confirm when all version file succeed.
choose UMTS/PLAT version file in windows of Base Station, and click right then choose

prepare for activation
Click confirm
Click OK

Click OK
choose status is Activated UMTS/PLAT version file in windows of Base Station again, and
click right then choose Enforce the activation

Click OK , finish version upgrade and re-login
2.4 Re-login LMT and check alarm
