1. How many years have you been teaching?
2. Describe your student teaching experience, was it stressful? Did you think about quitting and not becoming a teacher? Did you doubt your abilities to teach? 3. Have you taught at different schools? If so where? 4. What experiences do you have working with high risk or behavioral students? 5. What do you like most about being a teacher? 6. What do you least like about being a teacher? 7. Describe the qualities of an effective teacher. 8. Describe the qualities of an ineffective teacher. 9. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being highly satisfied, 4 being satisfied, 3 being neither satisfied or unsatisfied, 2 being unsatisfied and 1 being highly unsatisfied; How satisfied are you with your teaching career? 10. If you could choose to leave your career would you? Why? What is keeping you in this profession? 11. Have you heard of teacher burn out? If so, have you ever felt burned out? 12. Do you have any coping skills to prevent becoming burned out? 13. Are you concerned about teacher burnout? 14. Do you have any additional feedback about teacher burnout?
