(What do YOU need to work on in order to grow professionally?)
I want to organize my time and make the transition and more music and dancing. Also, I want to control the
classroom by using the rewarding system. Also, I will sing when I make transitions.

1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
I want to work on my songs and how I chose the correct songs that help them to reach to a high level.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
I will ask my teacher about the songs that helps the students to understand English. Because my MST
used a lot of songs. For example, she uses this song (make a circle big, big, small, small). So, this
song teaches the students important of circle time.

3. Describe how you can tell if youre achieving your goal (Evidence)
I achieve my goals because I know how I choose the correct songs for young children.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

First, I will give the students the new units, and its about the (weather and sky), and I will teach
them the new vocabulary coming under these units such as rainy, cloudy, snowy, sunny, hot and
cold. Then, I will review with them by asking them about the sound of the letter they take it before.
Also, I will review with them by putting them ABCD song. This song the MOE gives the teacher,
and they use it in all kindergarten in the UAE. This song develops the letter knowledge for
students, and the children recognize the shapes of letter and sound of these letter by using the
sentence for each letter. Then I will review with them the letter they took it before (U), so I will ask
them about the sound of the letter and how they write. Then, I will show them the shape of the new
letter(R) and how they can write it correctly. Also, I will teach them the sound of the letter using
sentence (Rabbits are rascals r r r ). Moreover, I will let them how they can write the letter (R) on
the board, and I will let each student write the letter on the own board and show me when they
finish.

I will give them a puzzle for letter R, and rainbow shapes and
the students can build up the shapes correctly and easily. So,
they will learn how to read the word and name the object to
start with letter R and recognize the color of the rainbow.

Material: cotton, plastic eyes, letter R, glue.

Students will create a rabbit using a cotton and plastic eye,

The student will use the small thing to collage letter R, and they will identify the shape of the letter.
After that, they will be able to write the letter quickly.

Assessment

I will assess their level from the activity if they do the activity correctly. Also, I will assess their learning by
asking each one what this letter and the sound of the letter is. Moreover, I will use reward system by giving
the students who are polite or active with me candy or sticker.

Who is the lesson for? The lesson for KG 2 and its an English lesson.
Where did the lesson take place? The lesson take place in the class room because the
MOE change the system and they have two teachers in one class.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? I will contact the with my MST to
help me to choose the correct songs for students.
What did the students do? The students imitate me when I dance.

Analyze (A):
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? The students engage
with me and listen carefully to my questions and try to answer.
How well did your teaching relate to the students prior understanding? The students
try to connect what they learn it with real life. For example, I let high level to make a
rabbit with letter R, and they put to the rabbit ears, eyes, mouth, and tail. So, they feel
happy.
How well did you engage the students? I engage them by asking them about the sound
of the pervious letter and how they can write it.

Transform (T):
How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
The student in future can say the words started with letter R and said sentence start with
this letter. Also, they will able to read the sentence and speak immediately.
What are the implications for your professional practice?
I learned how to interact with students and how I teach the students in high level. Also,
learn how to organize the students and time.
