FIRMWARE SERIAL NUMBER LOOK-UP AND

REFERENCE GUIDE

Before downloading the latest version of

firmware (D2 or D3) from
Entrust Datacard, please ensure you are
downloading the correct version for your
printer. There are two options:

Option 1 (best for one printer):

Enter your serial number into the serial
number field on the download page at
datacard.com/infocus and your computer
will automatically download the correct
version based on your serial number. See
picture on the right for where to locate
your number.

Option 2 (best if you have multiple printers):

If you have multiple printers to upgrade, you only need to download the firmware once and it can be
used for all printers that fall within the same serial # range. Please refer to the chart below to see
what printers require which version. Enter the serial number for one of your printers in that range and
begin the firmware download - this firmware can then be saved and transfered to other computers
and printers.

If you have groups of printers that require different versions of firmware, you will need to download
that version separately by following the same instructions as above.
