RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOIL PROPERTIES (ATTERBERG LIMIT &


PARTICLES SIZE DISTRIBUTION) WITH PERMEABILITY AND SHEAR
STRENGTH

As a geotechnical, you and your team are required to prepare a soil database
in Malaysia for three types of soil, which are; clay, peat and also residual soil.
Your task is to study technical paper that have soil properties, permeability
and shear strength data in Malaysia and then classify the soil based on
USCS, AASHTO or BS classification. You also need to analyze the data from all
papers and produce the relationship between soil properties with
permeability and shear strength of soil. Set the excel program that shows the
relationship between soil properties and soil classification with permeability
and shear strength. Finally, discuss your result (in graph, mathematical
equation etc.) and recommendation for this task.

Prepare the report for above task and the report content all information as
described above. You are required to set up meetings during this task and
prepare minute of meeting for every meeting. You also need to prepare a
presentation for this task.
