NUST Entrance Test Important features:


Computer-based test conducted in 2 sessions daily.
Intermediate level education, aimed at evaluation of factual knowledge, comprehension and its
application.
Intelligence portion covering Arithmetical Reasoning, Critical thinking, Analytical Approach and
Problem Solving with 5% weight age are also included in NET.
Computer based test at Islamabad.
Paper based test at Karachi, Quetta.
Mock test module is available on NUST website for guidance of candidates.

Subject Test:
Entrance Test for various programs will be held in the following subjects along with their weighting:
a. Engineering and Computer Science programs: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computer,
Science/Computer Studies, English and Intelligence
b. Medical and Applied Biosciences programs:

What do you need to know about the NUST exams?


There are also technical cadet seats for those aspiring to join army along with technical skill.
Students have to undertake ISSB if they pass NUST exam.

GIKI Eligibility:
The applicants must have at least 60% overall marks or equivalent grade with at least 60% marks or

Chemistry (D or above grade Mathematics and Physics) and seven O-levels.

GIKI Entry Test:
Test comprises multiple choice questions based on intermediate level Physics, Mathematics and English.
Test is more conceptual in nature than NUST test and is set mostly on pattern of SAT II & A levels.
For the candidates applying on the basis of SAT-II, the merit will be determined by their Percentile
score.

About UET (UET Lhr & Taxila)
UET Lahore and Taxila are premier institutes in the field of Engineering.
Faculties offered at UET are Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Civil, Computer,
Architecture, Petroleum, Software Telecommunications, Auto, Nano Technology etc.
Each year more than 10,000 students compete for over 1,000 seats in UET Lahore/Taxila.
UET test is scheduled tentatively in August 2015.
UET Entry Test:
Paper-based written entrance test of following subjects is held.
Physics, Chemistry/Computer, Mathematics and English.
The test is based on multiple choice questions.

Eligibility / Test Weight age


Students achieving 60% marks in F.Sc. Pre Medical are eligible to apply in PMC examination.
The Entry test carries 50% weightage and 40% weightage is given to F.Sc/Equivalent exams results and
10% to Matric.
