RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which individuals or groups of
five or more manipulate one or two pieces of apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon and freehand (no apparatus).
This sport can be practiced individually or in sets. As for the sets,
official competitions are composed of five-member teams. Gymnasts may have the same apparatus for all five or three with one and two with a different apparatus (in this case the exercise is called mixed)
The largest events in the sport are the Olympic Games
Championships, European Championships, World cup series and Grand-Prix series.
The Spanish team is formed by: Alejandra Quereda, Lourdes
Mohedano, Elena Lpez, Sandra Aguilar and Carolina Rodriguez
