To Whom It May Concern:

It brings me immense pleasure to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Ritu

Narayan. Ritu is currently a student intern at Michigan State University. However, I
had the opportunity to observe Ritus growth as a student in both TE 407 (Teaching
English to Diverse Learners) and TE 408 (Crafting Teaching Practices).

Ritu is a conscientious, committed, and driven educator. She displayed a

willingness to cultivate and inspire learning through her lessons, which she
presented during her lab micro teaches. For one lesson, in particular, she created a
lesson and Speakers Stance. For example, it focused on teaching English to
encourage students personal strengths and their growth over time to prepare them
for college and beyond. Also, I observed that most of her lessons cultivated a
student-centered approach. Her lessons were authentic and engaging.

Most notably, Ritu is very approachable, and because of her commitment and her
solid work ethic, she is certain to be the consummate professional and learner
wherever she gains employment. Just as she has experienced tremendous growth as
a student in TE 407/408 at Michigan State University, there is no doubt in my mind
that she will continue to develop and make an impact as an English teacher wherever
she gains employment. I firmly believe that Ritu will do ground-breaking work in
College of the future. Should you hire her into your school district, you will have a leader who
Education is a talented person. Indeed, I believe that Ritu will make meaningful contributions
both in and out of the classroom.
