5.5 Checking Result

A. Steel Pile Foundation Capacity Check

- For pile capacity check, SAP 2000 analysed the pipe support frame by using loading combination from
Unfactored load. Pipe support on piles will analized by assuming fixed support located at natural ground
level.
- In output from SAP 2000, maximum value of compression, tension, lateral force and moment is attached
in SAP 2000 joint reaction output.(Atttachment A)
- Compression and Tension are joint reaction in Z-direction,
- Lateral Force are joint reaction in X-direction and Y-direction,
- Moment are joint reaction in Mx, My, and Mz.

B. Index Ratio ( IR) of frame member

- For Index Ratio check, SAP 2000 analysed the pipe support frame by using loading combination from
Factored load. Pipe support on piles will analized by assuming fixed support located at the fixity point of
the pile.
- The following table are output of maximum stress on frame member selected by SAP 2000 program
taken from the worst loading combination. The member stress is indicated as Index Ratio which should
be less than 1, unless the member will be overstress or fail
